is to take advantage of the large chorus to make it a sweeping romantic show-stopper, driven by the energy
of Titus Burgess as Sebastian. The harmonies are excellent, though I kept bracing for the "whoa whoa" bit
that never arrived.

In this version of the song that's featured in the live-action movie adaptation, Sebastian, Scuttle and Flounder
sing together in their hopes of getting Ariel and Eric to kiss. Sebastian still gets the top vocals, and while
Daveed Diggs may not have the same low range as Samuel E. Wright, the dude is clearly enjoying himself and brings
charm to the performance. So do Awkwafina and Jacob Trembley as Scuttle and Flounder respectively (yay, Flounder gets to sing!).
The lack of a larger chorus is a shame, but it does give the song a more intimate vibe in what the movie presents
as a more tricksy performance to get to Eric's subconscious.
